The LCCPTF goal has been to educate and motivate the entire population at rick for colorectal cancer (CRC) according to American Cancer Society (ACS) guidelines. The second goal is to educate and motivate the entire population to practice primary CRC prevention through adopting healthy lifestyles according to the CAS guidelines. Concomitantly, LCCPTF has been aiming to educate all healthcare professionals about the risk of CRC, the benefits of screening and early detection and that each health care providing site becomes a functioning cancer prevention unit.
